WHY A
WATERMELON?
"Karpuz" is the Turkish word for watermelon — a fruit that became a symbol of Palestinian identity when the colors of the Palestinian flag were banned. People carried watermelons in the streets as silent, powerful protest.
We chose this name because it represents exactly what we believe: that culture finds a way, that symbols endure, and that even the simplest thing can carry an entire people's story.
OUR JOURNEY
A HOODIE. A STORY. AN IDEA.
It started with one design — a Palestinian Tatreez hoodie, made for a few friends. The response was overwhelming. People didn't just want the hoodie. They wanted to wear a statement, carry a heritage, be part of something larger.
EXPANDING THE MAP
We expanded beyond Palestine — adding Syria and Sudan to our collection. Each new country brought its own visual language, history, and threads of resilience. The brand became a growing archive of the Arab world's stories.
